Venison and Red Pepper Stew

 
     
 

Description

Something different but a simple dish, Venison and Red Pepper Stew from Anne Wallace, East of Scotland

Ingredients

  • 150g venison steak
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 4 mushrooms
  • garic salt
  • 100ml red wine
 
 

Method

Dice the venison, toss in flour and brown in frying pan
Add the vegetables and gently cook until veg begins to soften
Place in oven proof casserole dish with 250ml stock including the wine

In a preheated oven cook for approx 2 hours at Gas 4 Electric 150C
